Belfast Passport Office

This is the only office in Ireland, open Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 5.00pm. On Saturdays, this office is open from 8.00am to 3.00pm. At this office the premium service’s cut off time is 12 midday. We can arrange a fast track or premium service for you if using the fast track service; this is suitable you can arrange an appointment to attend this office and drop off the relevant documents. This service can be used for a straight forward renewal or a application for a lost, damaged or stolen passport. If you believe your passport has been stolen, it is important to notify the police and obtain a crime reference number, this is essential for processing your application. In order to use the fast track passport service, it is important you supply all supporting documents and hand them in at the appointment time.

If your passport has been lost:

  • The LS01 form,
  • Two recent photographs- one of which should be countersigned,
  • The application form
  • The correct fee.

If your passport has been damaged:

  • Your damaged passport,
  • The application form- ensuring that you elaborate on how your passport was damaged,
  • The correct fee,
  • Two recent photographs, one which must be countersigned

If your passport has been stolen:

If you are renewing your passport:

If you are applying for a first child or adult passport:
